Trash and Recycling Service: Trash service is provided by the HOA. Currently we contract with Town & Country as our solid waste and recycling provider. The pick up day is Wednesday. Town & Country will pick up recycling on the regular trash day of Wednesday . For more information regarding trash and recycling visit our Community Links section. There you will find more information about what Town and Country accepts and where to take other recyclable goods Yard Waste: Town & Country Disposal, our waste disposal company, is no longer picking up yard waste in plastic trash bags. Yard waste MUST be disposed of in paper yard waste bags to be removed. The yard waste is not allowed to be combined with other trash in their trucks, so it is picked up separately by a second truck on Wednesdays (so don't be alarmed if the first truck leaves it behind). If you have any questions, please call Town & Country at (816) 380-5595. Street Light Repairs and Other City Property Maintenance: Do you have a streetlight out that needs repair or bulb replacement? A sidewalk that needs repair? Getting it fixed is quick and easy. Simply go to the Overland Park Cares webpage on the city’s website, at Overland Park Cares, and submit a service request. A recent streetlight repair was completed in a matter of hours after the request was submitted.
